Description
When replacing your thermostat, the o-ring often gets damaged, lost, or is degraded due to heat and years of exposure to hot coolant. Seal your new thermostat with a new o-ring to ensure leak free installation.
During your thermostat change fluid loss is inevitable, be sure to browse the website to get the proper fluid sent directly to your door. Also, as the thermostat housing is often broken or warped during removal, check yours out before ordering and have the new housing ready.
* This part is designed for the FSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped FSI (not TFSI).
