Description
The Water Temperature Regulator helps measure and control the coolant temperature in the engine for proper operation.
HOW IT WORKS
The thermostat begins at a closed position when you start the engine. As the coolant temperature within the engine rises to a designated temperature, the thermostat opens. The opening of the thermostat allows hot coolant from the engine to flow to the radiator for cooling and circulation.
WHY IT MATTERS
The thermostat is critical for optimal engine operation. It is key to preventing the engine from overheating or overcooling during operation.
