Description
The Reman Turbocharger forces extra compressed air into the combustion chamber to boost engine horsepower.
HOW IT WORKS
The turbocharger has two turbine fans on a common shaft. Exhaust gas flow and its heat rotate one fan and simultaneously rotate the other fan to create a vacuum of fresh air. This airflow is forced into the combustion chamber to create more volume, pressure, and horsepower.
WHY IT MATTERS
The turbocharger is used on the diesel engine to force more air into the combustion chamber for more horsepower. Additionally, the turbocharger uses the exhaust energy and the flow of the exhaust gas to drive the charge air impeller.
