Description
The Pressure Sensor allows the engine control unit (ECU) to detect and monitor the component pressure.
HOW IT WORKS
The sensor is designed to receive component pressure and produce an electrical signal. This signal is based on the pressure it receives through a microprocessor. The sensor protects the engine against low oil by turning on warning lamps, logging fault codes, and possibly shutting the engine down.
WHY IT MATTERS
The pressure sensor is essential to protecting the engine from low component pressure. If the pressure is not correctly detected, severe damage to the engine could occur.
